Jose C. Principe is a Professor at the University of Florida, where he heads the Computational NeuroEngineering Laboratory (CNEL). His research spans time series analysis, information theoretic learning, and AI cognitive architectures. Dr. Principe is a recipient of esteemed awards like the IEEE Neural Network Pioneer Award and IEEE Shannon Nyquist Technical Achievement Award. He has authored numerous publications and supervised many Ph.D. and master's students.
