Teresa B. Ludermir is a Full Professor and head of the Artificial Intelligence Group at Centro de Informatica, Universidade Federal de Pernambuco, Brazil. She received her Ph.D. in Neural Networks from Imperial College London in 1990. She has published over 400 articles in scientific journals and conferences and three books in Neural Networks (in Portuguese). Her research interests include responsible Artificial Intelligence, weightless Neural Networks, hybrid neural systems and automated machine learning (AutoML). She is IEEE and INNS senior member.
