He is EurIA Fellow, IEEE Fellow, Fellow of the Asia-Pacific AI Association, and member of the board of directors of the LIAAD, a group belonging to INESC Tec.

Mariana Macedo is currently a postdoctoral fellow at the Center for Collective Learning and Natural Intelligence Institute (ANITI) led by Dr. César Hidalgo. Her research is divided into Human Behaviour and Explainable & Applied AI. In Human Behaviour, she creates platforms, collects and analyses data, and identifies patterns. In Explanaible and Applied AI, she develops new algorithms, studies and applies them to real-world problems and classifies them based on performance and patterns.

Peter the Chair position in Complex and Adaptive Systems at the School of Computer Science, University of Birmingham, UK. His interests span machine learning, neural computation, probabilistic modelling and dynamical systems. Peter is fascinated by the possibilities of cross-disciplinary blending of machine learning, mathematical modelling and domain knowledge in a variety of scientific disciplines ranging from astrophysics to bio-medical sciences.
Prof. Peter Tino
Pablo Barros is a senior machine learning scientist at the Sens. AI research team at Sony, focusing on physiological and social signal processing applied to mental health solutions. Pablo holds a Ph.D. in computer science from the University of Hamburg, in Germany, and has worked at the Italian Institute of Technology as an associated researcher. Over the last few years, has worked on different projects involving social robotics, affective computing, and representation learning.

She obtained her PhD in Computer Science from the Federal University of Pernambuco (UFPE) and did her postdoctoral work at Dublin City University (DCU), Ireland. She is a lead researcher at the dotLAB Brazil research group and has been developing projects in Artificial Intelligence & Health
