This talk presents research on evolutionary constrained optimization developed over twenty years. After stating the problem of interest and remarking on the main differences with an unconstrained search space, different topics are discussed, such as surrogate-assisted constrained optimization, dynamic constrained optimization, large-scale constrained optimization, memetic algorithms in constrained optimization, and bi-level optimization.
